-Okay, so I'm about to design a website but last time I tried this the design came out a bit poor because I set fixed values based on the standard of 1024x768 monitor resolution. It was small and looked poor on big resolution screens.
So, this time I have seen many websites that size themselves to fit nicely on various size monitors. Is there anyone who can inform me of how to do this?
Basically I just want my website to be a nice size for people with big monitors as well as the standard smaller monitor resolutions. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.Use percent for your widths (ie width = ##%), and design your site as a "liquid layout". See an example at http://web2coders.jrcw3.com, bottom, "table v div challenge", and download the source.
If your using ppi the width should be around 950
