Multiple Antichrists?

-i would like someone to explain how this is even possible?

here is a list of people nowadays who many think are the antichrist;

Lady Gaga (because of a song called Judas? Kelly Clarkson did one with the same name, just so you know)

Misha Collins (he plays roles as dictated by the script and jokes with his fans - your point?

Pope Benedict XVI (he's the pope for crying out loud! how do you explain that one? O_o)

Richard Dawkins (okay, fair enough; i can sort of understand this one)

Barack Obama (and that, ladies and gentlemen, is called Racism and is frowned upon in modern society)

among others.

if it's meant to be Anti-CHRIST, singular, than why are so many people accused of being it?Anti-Christ is a he not a she. Although there have been many women who were very wicked like Jezebel. Richard Dawkins is not the Anti-Christ, but he is definitely not Godly.

The adjective "anti-Christ" does not refer to the person prophesied in the Bible. It may be applied to an attitude or action judged to be fundamentally opposed to Christ and his message, for example: Hating others is anti-Christ.

There is a "spirit" of antichrist. This can be anyone who denies Jesus is the "son of God". The bible says they have "the spirit of antichrist" as the above scripture.



There is also "one" who will rise up in power in the world and people will lift him up as the savior. He will win the hearts of many and then cause people to turn against God.



There are "many" antichrist because they will have the "spirit" of antichrist.



~ 1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.



~ 1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, [even now are there many antichrists]; whereby we know that it is the last time.

So as the scriptures state...there are many but there will be one that rises up to a leadership position.

Does it not pertain to a set of objects that are opposite to something?

i.e. many countries can be anti America, only one country can be America.

Although, if you mean it in the sense like a positron is an anti electron then it has to be a pair in which case multiple anti objects would not be allowed. Maybe it's like saying "this person is the best". Best would be subject to (implied) parameters such as epoch, and there is no definitive single answer. i.e. Barack Obama could be the anti Christ of 2010, and Pope Benedict XVI the anti Christ of, 2005, that way you could have more than one.
